Professor Richard Wilding's particular interests include supply chain strategy, the creation of collaborative business environments, the alignment of supply chains to maximise customer value and reduce risk. A key focus of his work is risk mitigation strategies within the supply chain. Effective Supply Chain Management results in reduced risk for all players and enhances value for customers and simultaneously reduces cost!
Professor Richard Wilding is engaged with his colleagues in the development of the Centre for Supply Chain Risk and Resilience. The focus of this Centre's activity is the applied research into all forms of supply chain risk, with a view to providing practicing managers and policy makers with the tools and concepts necessary to enable them to improve Supply Chain Resilience.
